WG 10: Teaching to teach EU integration

WG 10 focused on ‘Teaching to teach European integration’. The central topics of this WG are the didactical aspects related to the teaching of European Studies. The main aspects analysed have been:

– Student-centred teaching methods. Special attention has been be paid to the method of problem-based learning, This model is based on interaction in small groups with special attention for practical problems and concrete skills and with focus on the construction of knowledge..

– Questions related to pedagogical uses of teaching material, access to information sources on the EU; questions related to examination. The purpose of this topic was in the first place to provide a forum for exchange of experience between academic staff and to upgrade their knowledge and skills when teaching European Studies.
